The Hokkaido branch of the Japanese Association of Women Scientists will be co-hosting the "16th Japanese Association of Women Scientists Academic Conference: Unity in Diversity - Diverse Science from the Northern Lands" on December 8th, with the Hokkaido University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as its co-host.
On the day, invited lectures are scheduled to be given by Professor Noriko Nagahori (Visiting Professor, Hokkaido University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); Executive Vice President, Enyu Pharma Co., Ltd.), Professor Kimiko Kuroki (Professor, Graduate Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Hokkaido University), and Professor Mari Kuroiwa (Professor, Faculty of Science Hokkaido University). In addition, a Young Researcher Outstanding Presentation Award will be presented for the poster presentation.
