The Hokkaido University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will hold a Purple Ribbon Lecture entitled "How Do We Build Relationships? - Rethinking Friends, Family, and Romance" on November 7th.

Hokkaido University strongly supports the Cabinet Office's "Campaign to End Violence Against Women," and holds lectures and other events for university members every year during the campaign period (November 12th to 25th). This year, we have planned a lecture specifically for undergraduate and graduate students on the boundaries between oneself and others from the perspectives of body, emotion, will, and responsibility, to teach them how to respect each other, build good relationships, and protect themselves.
