The Hokkaido University Student Counseling Center's International Student Counseling Office will be holding an intercultural exchange workshop, "Zen Seminar 2025," on November 10th.

This workshop will include icebreakers, teamwork exercises, simulation games, and the opportunity to experience zazen and tea ceremony. It will be a great opportunity to meet students from diverse cultural backgrounds and discover how culture influences us. *If there are a large number of applicants, a lottery will be held to limit participation to 20 people, taking into consideration the diversity of participants. *Although there will be a zazen experience led by the head priest of Kozenji Temple, this is not a religious event. Participation is welcome from people of various faiths and nonetheless. *The Zen Seminar will be conducted in English, with Japanese interpretation provided as needed.
