The Hokkaido University Regional Fisheries Co-Creation Center will hold a "Discussion Meeting for Building a Hakodate Future Co-Creation Platform (tentative name) - a Blue Brand City" on November 4th, with the aim of building a new future for Hakodate.

The purpose of this forum is to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the industry sector to share their understanding of the fundamental issues and current situation facing each industry, identify the issues that need to be addressed, and thereby identify directions for resolving these issues.

Facing challenges such as a declining population, an aging society, and a slump in key industries such as the fishing industry, the Hakodate region aims to build a platform unique to the region and continue to work to solve these issues in order to resolve these issues and revitalize local industries.
