The Hokkaido Faculty of Education Child Development Clinical Research Center will hold the first public lecture in the "Thinking about Child Development" series, entitled "Can research reduce bullying?", on November 19th.

In this lecture, we will hear from Professor Kato, who is researching bullying and other problems that occur during adolescence from the perspective of "Why do developmental development lead to problems?" The interviewer will be Ms. Takada, who works as a learning support coordinator at an elementary school and deals with various concerns faced by children. From the stories of these two speakers, we hope to find hints on how adults can support children.
