Hokkaido University CoSTEP and the Institute for Innovation and Emergence (IVReD), Vaccine Research and Development Center, will hold the 145th Science Cafe Sapporo on November 30th, entitled "Taking stock of 'that day' of COVID-19 - thinking about our future lives from a public health perspective."
Our guest at this Science Café will be Masayuki Saijo, Director of Medical Affairs and Public Health at the Sapporo City Health and Welfare Bureau, who has been leading Sapporo's response to the novel coronavirus. Saijo has been on the front lines of the Ebola outbreak response in Africa and infectious disease control in Sapporo.
