The Japan Border Studies Network (JIBSN) will hold the JIBSN Seminar 2025 Tsushima: "Border Regions Slavic-Eurasian Research Center of Hokkaido University, the National Institutes for the Humanities' Core Research Project "East Eurasian Studies" at Slavic-Eurasian Research Center of Hokkaido University (EES), the Nagasaki University Center for Global Risk Studies (CGR), and the Chuo Gakuin University Social Systems Research Institute's Project Research "Border Regions in Crisis."

We will hold a seminar on urban development and initiatives that take into account the challenges and risks facing Japan's border regions. We will delve into border regions such as Hokkaido and Tsushima and discuss their future.
