The Hokkaido University Institute for Genetic Medicine will hold the "2025 Infectious Cancer Symposium" on October 24th.
This workshop is a forum for information exchange that plays a central role in the nationwide collaborative research and usage activities of Institute for Genetic Medicine. It has been held continuously since 2009 and has promoted research exchange across the fields of infection, immunity, and cancer, which are closely related to infectious cancer.
In 2025, we will welcome two distinguished lecturers: Dr. Manami Inoue, a world authority on cancer epidemiology, and Dr. Hisashi Arase, a leading researcher in pathogen infection and immunity. They will share cutting-edge knowledge, from global trends in infectious cancer to the latest mechanisms of viral infection and autoimmune diseases.
