The Graduate Faculty of Medicine at Hokkaido University has been selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "2025 Comprehensive Medical Research Support Program."

The Medical Research Support Program aims to fundamentally strengthen medical research capabilities by providing integrated, flexible, and agile support for the research activities of researchers working on research topics of national strategic importance, as well as efforts to improve the research environment at university hospitals and medical schools.

 

Through this project, Hokkaido University aims to foster young researchers who will be responsible for international collaborative research, and to establish a "Hokkaido University model" that will be self-sustaining even after the project ends.
