The Science Communication Study Group will be co-hosting with Hokkaido University CoSTEP, "Meet the PCST in Japanese! - Bringing Japanese science communication to the world" on November 10th.

The PCST Tokyo Symposium 2025, an international science communication conference, will be held from November 11th to 13th, 2025. In conjunction with this, an international exchange event titled "Meet the PCST in Japanese! - Bringing Japanese science communication to the world" will be held on Monday, November 10th, 2025.
This event will feature Associate Professor Fabien Medvecky of the Australian National University, President of PCST (Political Science and Technology Communication Society), as well as former President Professor Sook-kyoung CHO (Korea Institute of Energy Technology), Professor Massimiano Bucchi (University of Trento), Associate Professor Anne Dijkstra (University of Twente), Professor Ayelet Baram-Tsabari (Technion, Israel Institute of Technology), and Professor Jinwoong SONG (Seoul National University), to promote Japan's science communication activities and research to the world. In addition, to lower the language barrier, simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation will be available.

This will be a great opportunity to get an overview of science communication activities in Japan. We hope you will join us.
