Hokkaido University WPI-ICReDD will hold the 5th Suzuki Akira Award Ceremony and the 9th ICReDD International Symposium on October 16th and 17th.
The Suzuki Akira Prize was established in 2021 by the Suzuki Akira Prize Steering Committee to commemorate Professor Suzuki's 2010 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and his 90th birthday. The prize aims to recognize outstanding contributions to chemical reaction discovery research in a broad sense and to contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
The Suzuki Akira Prize and the ICReDD Prize are awarded to researchers who have made outstanding achievements in the development of chemical reactions in the fields of experimental chemistry (Suzuki Akira Prize) or computational (theoretical) chemistry and information science (ICReDD Prize). Each prize is awarded to one person each year, regardless of age or nationality.
