Faculty of Health Sciences at Hokkaido University will hold the 7th Health Science Seminar of 2025 on September 18th, entitled "Creating Regional Medical Care in Hokkaido: Aiming for Medical Care That Supports Lung Cancer Surgery Patients Through ACP Throughout the Community."

The Health Science Seminar invites various lecturers from both inside and outside the university to give lectures on health science. The seventh seminar, held in 2025, will feature Dr. Tomomi Miura (Head Nurse, Nursing Department, Hakodate Goryokaku Hospital) giving a lecture titled "ACP as Psychological Prehabilitation and Community Coexistence," and Dr. Hirofumi Uehara (Chief Medical Director, Thoracic Surgery Department, Hakodate Koseiin Goryokaku Hospital) giving a lecture titled "Creating Community Healthcare in Hokkaido: Aiming for Medical Care That Supports Lung Cancer Surgery Patients Throughout the Community."
