"SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien" is a competition in which high school students form teams, proactively explore the SDGs, and create, present, and award various action ideas. Each area is run through partnerships formed by local governments, educational institutions, local media, companies, and organizations, working together with industry, government, and the private sector. The Hokkaido tournament is run by the "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien Hokkaido Tournament Executive Committee," with Professor Makoto Demura, Special Advisor to the President and Professor Emeritus at Hokkaido University, serving as executive committee chairman.
Climate change, energy, biodiversity, gender, water... How can we solve the various problems facing the earth and human society? SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien is a contest where high school students come up with and present ideas for "SDGs actions" that will provide solutions. We will encourage more people to take action, reward ideas based on new and fun ideas, and support action.
