Hokkaido University Museum will hold a lecture in conjunction with the "Humanistic Insect Exhibition" titled "Arriving at Merian! - Half a century in pursuit of butterflies and natural history books" on August 30th.

The "Humanistic Insect Exhibition" is an exhibition held at the museum from June 28th to August 31st, showcasing insect-themed literature, paintings, myths, proverbs, and other works, as well as insects themselves and their relationships with the people who lived them. The third related lecture will be titled "Arriving at Merian! - Half a century in pursuit of butterflies and natural history books."
