Faculty of Economics and Business at Hokkaido University will hold its 2025 public lecture, "Thinking about Modern Society through Statistics," on October 18th and 19th.

This open lecture series will feature four courses: "Partial correlation coefficients and covariance selection," "Advancing industry-academia research using corporate personnel statistical data," "Introduction to Bayesian statistics," and "Comparative statistical methods - economic disparities, differences in the value of one vote, and rankings."
