The Hokkaido University Next Generation Soft Materials Co-Creation Center will hold the "Hokkaido University Soft Materials Co-Creation Symposium 2025" at Conference Hall on October 2nd.

 

Soft materials is a general term for soft, easily deformable substances such as jelly, sponges, and biological tissues, and is a new materials field that has attracted attention in recent years. Our center is advancing research and applications in collaboration with a wide range of fields, including soft matter materials science, medicine, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, and field science. This symposium aims to further develop cross-disciplinary exchange and collaborative research through presentations on the latest soft material research, lectures by international collaborators, and poster presentations. Poster presentations are being accepted until August 31, 2025.
