Hokkaido University Hospital Medical AI Research and Development Center, the Hokkaido University Healthcare AIX Innovation Center, the Hokkaido University Institute for the Promotion of Business-Regional Collaboration Startup Creation Headquarters, and the Hokkaido Future Creation Startup Nurturing Mutual Support Network will hold the Hokkaido Medical AI Business Plan Contest 2025 on Saturday, August 16th.

As technological innovation in medical AI advances, young talent is needed to accurately identify on-site issues and create innovative solutions. This contest aims to provide a forum for graduate students and young university professors to present business ideas that utilize medical AI, and to support entrepreneurship and the social implementation of research results.
