In April of this year, Sapporo City enacted the "Sapporo City Coexistence Town Development Ordinance: Connecting Everyone." In October of this year, the Hokkaido Institute for the Advancement of Graduate Education Recurrent Education Promotion Department plans to launch a re-learning program for working adults called the "Community Manager Training Program for Supporting Coexistence" (abbreviated as SasaPro), with the aim of cultivating problem-solving leaders who will realize symbiotic town development. Prior to the implementation of this program, we will be holding a screening and a special lecture with Director Wu as a guest.
The film "I Live in Two Worlds" depicts the conflict of a hearing child named "CODA" who has parents who are deaf or hard of hearing. This time, we have invited the director of this film, Miho Wu, to talk about the thoughts she put into the film, people of different backgrounds living together, and the work of a film director.
