Hokkaido University's Center for Advanced Tourism Studies will hold the first industry-academia collaboration content tourism seminar, "Music that colors the images - Hayashi Yuki talks about the behind-the-scenes of anime soundtrack production" on July 22nd.

 

I'm sure there is music in your favorite anime, dramas, and movies that makes you think of famous scenes when you hear it. These pieces, called "soundtracks" (music accompanying the story), are indispensable to video works, coloring the world of the story in a way that is different from the theme song. This time, we asked Yuki Hayashi, who has composed soundtracks for many popular works, to talk about the little-known world of soundtrack production.
