The Northern High School Students Conference II Executive Committee, in collaboration with the NPO Japan-Taiwan Educational Support Researchers Network and the Hokkaido University Research Faculty of Media and Communication, will hold the 2025 Northern High School Students Conference II on July 26th and 27th.
[University Philosophies]
- Providing more opportunities for young people to think about social issues
- Expanding the network among participants
High school students from across Hokkaido will gather together to deepen their understanding of social issues. By speaking with a sense of ownership, we will revive the opportunity to learn. Furthermore, we will provide a place for discussion among a wide range of generations, broadening new perspectives and future possibilities, especially for young people.
In addition, by forming a "youth network" among participants, we will expand the role of young people in Hokkaido. By being aware of the principles of the SDGs (especially 4, 10, 11, and 17), and by considering the current state and future of our town and its connection with the world, we will support the creation of a sustainable society.
