Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences at Hokkaido University will be holding a special exhibition at Shoka no Mori entitled "Has the Red Fox Come?" from June 13th to August 29th.
The special exhibition at Shoka no Mori in the Graduate School of Education has been updated. This exhibition is an updated version of the exhibition planned and produced for the Museum Studies Seminar "Animals in Museum Materials 2024" (instructor: Associate Professor Takayo Kui) in the second semester of 2024. Under the supervision of Associate Professor Kui, eight students from the laboratories of Philosophical Ethics, Art Studies, Museology, Film and Contemporary Culture, Behavioral Science, and Regional Science collaborated to produce this exhibition. We will look at the realities of red foxes, which are born and live in cities, from three perspectives: "urban foxes," "echinococcus," and "feeding," and consider our relationship with them.
