Hokkaido University's Office of Ainu Relations and Initiatives and Kita Library will be holding an exhibition titled "Learning about the language, lifestyle, history and interactions of the Ainu people through books: Kampinukaraanro - Itak, Urepa, Upakma, Nepki, Ukoapka-" until the end of June.

In connection with the university-wide education course "Learning at Hokkaido University," which is open to all first-year students, we are introducing recommended books on three themes: "The history and present of the Ainu people," "The language, life, and work of the Ainu people," and "The Ainu people and Hokkaido University." Deepen your understanding of the Ainu people by reading books recommended by teachers at Office of Ainu Relations and Initiatives.
