The Hokkaido University Diversity and Inclusion Promotion Headquarters will hold an FD lecture entitled "Thinking about diversity from the majority's perspective - Making invisible 'privilege' visible" on May 30th.
The various "majority characteristics" we have and the fact that we are part of the majority
Focusing on the advantages that can be gained, "privilege," learn about the mechanisms of structural inequality and discrimination.
We will talk about the awareness required to take DEI issues as our own concerns and think about them.
This lecture is aimed at students, faculty and staff of our university, and those involved with higher education institutions in Hokkaido.
