The Child Development Clinical Research Center, affiliated with Faculty of Education Hokkaido University, will hold the Developmental Support Forum 2025 Spring, "What is a Child?" on March 22nd.

In 1950, one in three people in the country was a child, and by 2025, it will be one in ten. Are children a minority in modern Japan? Child-related budgets are increasing, but what is society's view of children? What exactly is a "child"? I would like to discuss these questions.
