The Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), a national research and development agency, will hold the "Moonshot Goal 7 Public Symposium 2024 - Towards realizing medical care that enables people to live healthy lives even to age 100" on March 1st.
AMED launched a research and development project in April 2021 to achieve Moonshot Goal 7, "Realize a sustainable medical and nursing care system that prevents and overcomes major diseases by 2040, and enables people to enjoy life to 100 years old without health concerns." At this symposium, eight project managers (PMs) will give talks on the current status of research and future prospects. Professor Masaaki Murakami Institute for Genetic Medicine Hokkaido University, is scheduled to give a talk.
