The Hokkaido University Center for Data-Driven Interdisciplinary Research (D-RED) will hold a special session on "Data-Driven Interdisciplinary Research/Digital Talent Development from Hokkaido" on February 19th.
The Hokkaido University Data-Driven Fusion Research Emergence Center (D-RED) is a hub that will develop functions to identify fusion research areas based on numerical evidence, to meet the needs of companies and local governments working to solve problems, and to promote data-driven fusion research, which is a strength of Hokkaido University.
This session is titled "Data-Driven Fusion Research/Digital Human Resource Development Special Session." In the first session, we will introduce the data-driven fusion research being conducted by each unit in D-RED and Faculty of Information Science and Technology in collaboration with NEXCO East Japan Group, Nitori Holdings, and the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau, and the efforts toward social implementation. In addition, we will provide topics on digital human resource development that leads to solving regional issues, and reskilling programs being developed in Hokkaido. In the second session, we will hold a lecture on "data-driven interdisciplinary research" being conducted by young researchers and students in units within D-RED.
