Hokkaido University Museum will hold the "2024 Hokkaido University Graduation Thesis Poster Presentation" on March 1st and 2nd in the "Knowledge Exchange" Hall on the 1st floor.
Undergraduate students from Hokkaido University who will graduate this spring will put together a poster of their graduation research, which is the culmination of their student life, and explain it to visitors at the venue and answer questions. This presentation is aimed at letting as many people as possible know about the research of Hokkaido University students, so anyone can freely listen to the presentations, including local residents, tourists, students and faculty from both inside and outside the university.
This event is run by students, not just the presenters. The event is run as a project for the Museum Meister Certification Course, and is a valuable opportunity for students to gain social experience that they cannot get in class or in their everyday student life. This year, six Hokkaido University students are supporting the event as management staff.
