The Hokkaido University Mathematics and Data Science Education and Research Center (MDSC) will hold the "Data Science Symposium" on January 24th.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Ikuo Takeuchi, followed by special speeches by Someya and Koyasu, who were both recognized as 2023 MITOU Super Creators, and Ikeda from NEC, who has attracted attention in the marketing field for developing an innovative causal analysis tool. These two people, who are active at the forefront of data science, will talk about the results they have achieved through the challenges of the MITOU Project, as well as their outlook for paving the way to the future, including business models from a corporate perspective.
