The Child Development Clinical Research Center, affiliated with Faculty of Education Hokkaido University, will hold an open lecture entitled "Considering poverty and support for child-rearing families" on February 26th.

Families raising children face many problems, such as managing the household budget, balancing work and childcare, and worries about their children's development. Furthermore, these problems may change depending on the family's economic situation and the age of the child. What kinds of problems do parents raising children in Hokkaido face, and what kind of support do they need? The Child Development Clinical Research Center conducted a "Survey on Children's Living Conditions" in Sapporo, Hokkaido. In this course, we will introduce the voices of parents that became clear through the survey. Let's use this opportunity to think together about support and services that will create a society where parents can raise their children with peace of mind.
