The Hokkaido University One Health Research Center will hold an open lecture for the public on November 30th, entitled "20 Years Since the BSE Outbreak in Japan - Social Changes Borne Out of Chaos and Continued to the Present."

We will hear from people who struggled amid the turmoil at the time, with the aim of using the "positive legacy" they learned and experienced following the BSE outbreak as nourishment for the future to improve food safety and infection control.
