Hokkaido University will hold the "Republic of Mali x Urahoro Town x Hokkaido University Whole-Whole Exchange Festival - From Sackomi to the World: Proposals for the Future 100 Years from Now - From a 'Society That is Created' to a 'Society That We Want to Create'" on December 18th.
Mr. Ousby Sako, a member of the Hokkaido University Management Council, will give a lecture on the current situation in his home country, the Republic of Mali, and Japanese society as seen from his perspective. We will also invite Mr. Masataka Omi, who is said to be a key figure in Urahoro Town, which has deep ties with the Republic of Mali, to speak about the various initiatives of Urahoro Town and the "Sackomi Project" that Mr. Sako and Mr. Omi are working on. Why not deepen your understanding of the current situation in Urahoro Town and the Republic of Mali and think about how Hokkaido University can be involved?
*This event will also be positioned as the kickoff event for Hokkaido University's Social Creativity Development Project.
