Hokkaido University's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will hold a special lecture, "Creating Innovation at Universities and Nurturing Global Leaders from the Perspective of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)," on November 22nd.

For this lecture, we have invited Professor Mariko Gakiya (Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University), who has deep knowledge of international strategies and diversity innovation creation in universities. She will talk about problem analysis and realization methods from a global perspective, such as how universities and society can work together to create innovation to solve global problems, and systems for developing leaders who will become change agents.
