Hokkaido University Library will hold a seminar on "How to Find Information on International Organizations" on November 25th.

Hokkaido University Library has been designated as the "United Nations Depository Library" by the United Nations and as the "EU Information Centre" by the EU. The library has an international materials room on the 4th floor, which holds a large number of documents, official records and publications from the United Nations and its specialized agencies, as well as official materials issued by the European Commission Publications Office, and is open to the general public as well as to the university.

This seminar will provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles and organizational structures of the United Nations and the EU, and will also include practical training on the PCs available at the venue, covering everything from how to search for documents to how to use the various databases made public by both organizations.
