The Hokkaido Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences /Humanities Café Planning Working Group will be holding the 34th Hokkaido University Literature Café, "Thinking about the Meaning of Life with Philosophers," on November 23rd.

The speaker for this event will be Professor Nobuo Kurata Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences. Have you ever thought, "I don't know the meaning of life" or "I don't know the meaning of living"? Young people may be worried about how they should live their lives from now on and what their life purpose should be. Some people may be thinking, "I want to start my life over," or "What was the purpose of my life up until now?" But is the "meaning of life" something that can be "understood" in the first place? Also, what does it mean to "understand the meaning of life"? I would like to put philosophy into practice with you by thinking "philosophically" about the "meaning of life."
