The Hokkaido Economic Department Zero Carbon Promotion Bureau will be holding the "Hokkaido Dekabo Challenge" in December, a project that aims to co-create solutions to climate change issues with Hokkaido's leading companies and municipalities and implement them in society. This program is accepting applications from students until November 18th.
The Hokkaido Dekabo Challenge is a program where participating students and employees from various companies discuss and co-create businesses on the theme of "Zero Carbon (Decarbonization) / Social Issues." It has the following two objectives:
- In the area of decarbonization, university students and field employees will seriously "co-create" to generate problem-solving ideas worthy of implementation, and promote decarbonization in Hokkaido companies.
- By seriously confronting the "on-site" issues in the field of decarbonization as if they were "personal issues," participating university students will deepen their understanding of decarbonization and encourage their own behavioral changes.
This program, which is co-created with companies, is a must-see for job seekers, and first and second year students are also welcome to apply.
- By interacting with employees in the field of your desired industry, you can gain a deeper understanding of the industry, get a feel for the company culture, and hear real stories.
