The Hokkaido University Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences will be co-hosting an FD lecture entitled "Why is Hokkaido University also full of men?" on October 25th in collaboration with Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Author of "Why is Todai so Male-Dense?" (Shueisha Shinsho), Mr. Masato Yaguchi (Vice President of the University of Tokyo) will discuss the female/male ratio among faculty and students at Japan's top universities and the issues they face. *This lecture will be held as part of Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences FD, but it is open to faculty, staff, and students of Hokkaido University, as well as the general public.
