On August 5th, Hokkaido University's Graduate School of Media and Communication Studies and School of International Media, Public Relations and Tourism Studies signed an academic exchange agreement with the School of Journalism at Renmin University of China.
A delegation of six people (including three vice presidents of the School of Journalism at Renmin University of China) from the School of Journalism at Renmin University and the Research Center for Journalism at Renmin University of China visited the School of Media and Communication at Hokkaido University, where Dean Ao Sang and Vice President Wang Runze of the School of Journalism signed a friendly academic exchange agreement. Following the signing of the agreement, the School of Media and Communication at Hokkaido University and the Research Center for Journalism at Renmin University of China jointly hosted the "International Academic Symposium on Media Change and Social Development in Asia," where six faculty members from both sides gave research reports. The two sides agreed to strengthen academic exchange and joint research collaboration in fields such as media journalism.
