The National University Affiliated Research Institute and Center Conference First Division and Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center will hold the "69th National University Affiliated Research Institute and Center Conference First Division Symposium SDGs x Problem-solving Research - Focusing on Practices in the Arctic Region" on September 3rd.

 

This symposium is held every year to publicize the research results and significance of the research institutes and research centers belonging to the National University Research Institutes and Centers Conference Division 1 to the general audience. This year, it will be organized by the Hokkaido University Arctic Research Center and will be held in a completely online live streaming format. At this symposium, four researchers from both inside and outside the university will give lectures on problem-solving research efforts aimed at achieving the SDGs, including practical examples at Arctic Research Center. From Hokkaido University, Professor Satoru Kato Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability, Specially Appointed Associate Professor Takafumi Hirata Arctic Research Center, and Associate Professor Juha Saunawara of the same center are scheduled to take the stage.
