Hokkaido University Museum will hold the "Insect Parataxonomist Training Course (Beginner)" on August 10th and 11th. We are recruiting students for this course.

This course is aimed at those who have never made a specimen, or those who collect insects but do not know how to examine them. After a lecture on insect classification, you will collect insects outdoors and practice identifying them indoors using a stereo microscope to the order level.
