The Renewable Energy Research & Education Center (REREC), a joint project base at Hokkaido University, will hold a kickoff event entitled "The Future of Local Communities and Renewable Energy: Towards Achieving Nature Positive and Local Community Positiveness" on August 8th.

Hokkaido University has established the Renewable Energy Research & Education Center (REREC) as a joint project hub for renewable energy technology research and human resource development, scheduled to run for five years from June 2024. Hokkaido has high potential for renewable energy and expectations are rising. At this event, we will consider the future of renewable energy in the region.
