Kamishihoro Town and Hokkaido University's Public Relations and Social Collaboration Office will hold the "Kamishihoro Town x Hokkaido University Whole Exchange Festival" on July 12th.

Starting this year, we will be holding a "Local Government x Hokkaido University Exchange Festival" on a regular basis, which will provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff from all over the university, as well as people inside and outside the university, to learn about and connect with each local government, in order to solve and revitalize the local issues through collaboration between local governments in Hokkaido and Hokkaido University as a whole. As the first event, we will be holding the "Kamishihoro Town x Hokkaido University Exchange Festival." About 20 local government officials and people active in the area from Kamishihoro Town will come to Hokkaido University to learn about the charms and challenges of Kamishihoro Town while listening to their voices, and think together about the possibilities of "town development x the future of the university."
