Our Public Policy School will hold the 5th HOPS Seminar of 2024, "The Potential of Workers Cooperative Act: A New Way of Working that Turns Community Development into Jobs," on June 21st.

In 2022, the Workers Cooperative Act came into effect. Worker cooperatives are new legal entities in which everyone invests, discusses, and works together. They are expected to be a platform for local residents to solve local issues themselves, such as revitalizing local communities and revitalizing local areas. Learn about the significance of this Worker Cooperative Law.

This seminar is aimed at current students, faculty and staff of Hokkaido University, including those from HOPS, as well as HOPS alumni.
