The Baker School and the University of Tennessee, co-hosted by Hokkaido　University Public Policy School (HOPS), will host the "U.S.-Japan Diplomacy Academy" on September 17th, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Grant Program.

The five-day program, which consists of interactive classes on East Asian security and the Japan-U.S. alliance, courses on policy analysis and how to write policy briefing papers, and an international crisis simulation game, is aimed at nurturing future leaders who can deal with challenges in Japan's diplomacy and security.
