Hokkaido University Hospital, in collaboration with Hokkaido University Museum, held a museum appreciation experience event using avatar robots on May 13th for pediatric patients admitted to the hospital and their families.

The event was held in two parts. In the first part, Dinosaur Kobayashi (Professor Yoshitsugu Kobayashi), Deputy Director of Hokkaido University Museum, gave a commentary from the museum's dinosaur exhibition floor. In the second part, children who are hospitalized at Hokkaido University Hospital and have difficulty going outside viewed the museum's skeletal specimens through avatar robots.
