The 2023/24 Hokkaido University Hult Prize Steering Committee has been selected as the "2024 OnCampus Awards Program of the Year in Asia Pacific."

The Hult Prize annually holds its Global Finals to determine the world's best student startup, which will receive a prize of $1 million. The Oncampus Award is also held to determine the best steering committee among the student committees that run on-campus programs at universities around the world. Last year, the Hokkaido University Hult Prize Steering Committee was ranked number one in the region. As a result, the committee's chairman, Kawate, has been nominated for the World Program of the Year award to be announced at the Global Final in London in September of this year.
