The Hokkaido University Center for Advanced Tourism Studies will host the CATS Tourism Online Forum Series vol. 34, “Counter-urbanisation: History, Drivers, Policy and Future” on June 13th.

This time, we will focus on counter-urbanisation (the movement of population from metropolitan centres to suburbs and from urban to non-metropolitan areas) and will talk about migration patterns, history, drivers and impacts of counter-urbanisation leading to this migration to rural areas.
