Atsushi Yokota, Executive Director and Vice President of Hokkaido University, gave a speech as a representative of the SDG-UP Management Subcommittee entitled “ Top-down and Bottom-up Virtuous Circle” at the first part of the “SDG-UP Open Symposium” on March 29, 2023, in the “Panel Discussion on the Frontlines of University Sustainability Activities.”

Prior to the symposium, Executive Director Yokota and his team made a courtesy visit to the United Nations University and met with Rector Chiritsy Marwala.
