NHK Sapporo Broadcasting Station and Hokkaido University signed a comprehensive partnership agreement on April 9th.

In 2025, NHK will mark the 100th anniversary of the start of radio broadcasting by its predecessor, the Tokyo Broadcasting Corporation, and Hokkaido University will celebrate its 150th anniversary two years later in 2026. We will use this opportunity to promote collaboration and cooperation with the aim of leading the solution of social issues in Hokkaido and revitalizing the local community, as well as contributing to the promotion of education and research and the development of human resources by utilizing the assets of both parties.
