The Hokkaido University School of Agriculture, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Research Faculty of Agriculture will hold the 68th Clock Tower Salon: "Ask School of Agriculture" on April 18th.

The theme of the 68th lecture is "The Latest Vegetable Encyclopedia." We will introduce the history and breeding of vegetable varieties that are available in supermarkets. In Lecture 1, "The History of Beets," Professor Tomohiko Kubo Research Faculty of Agriculture will be the lecturer and introduce the beet family and history.
