Our university's Institute for Catalysis and the Ritsumeikan University SR Center will co-host a symposium titled "Catalysis Science and Synchrotron Radiation - New Developments in Soft to Tender X-rays" on January 26th.

Synchrotron radiation has played a major role in the ever-evolving catalytic science, and it is expected that the connection between the two fields will further accelerate development in the future. In this symposium, Professor Kenichi Shimizu, Professor Tatsu Takagusagi, and Professor Kiyotaka Asakura of our university's Institute for Catalysis are scheduled to introduce research cases, and discuss what kind of developments are expected for future collaboration. .
